Overview
Learning Spanish in Quito gives students the opportunity
to study in a city both modern and colonial, while being situated ideally
for adventure sports and ecological touring. Besides the famous unique
wildlife of the Galápagos Islands, Ecuador also contains active
volcanoes, ice-capped mountain peaks, and Amazon Basin rain forests.
A large portion of the population is indigenous and highland Indians sell
their goods in many of the markets surrounding Quito.
