The Latin
Immersion Language Network offers internships for students worldwide
to help us continually improve our programs. In addition to contributing
to the growth of a world-class educational system, student interns will
gain the following:

work experience in an international
organization.

free or reduced tuition at our
schools.

Internships are available at our
schools in
Santiago, Chile and Buenos
Aires, Argentina:
Students may meet the language
requirements of the internship by first completing one of our programs:
-
8 weeks starting at the beginner
level.
-
4 weeks starting at the intermediate
level.

Volunteer
Program Development:
Description: As we continually
try to help in improving the conditions of our communities, we are looking
for interns to help place students wishing to volunteer their services.
The volunteer program development position allows the intern to perfect
his or her Spanish while making relationships with local hospitals, schools,
homeless shelters, environmental groups, and other areas of social service.
Requirements: Advanced
Spanish level. Preference is given to students with social sciences
or education backgrounds.

Marketing:
Description: Help us
promote our educational programs to students around the world. Establish
relationships with universities, travel agencies, and study abroad programs.
Will work with Latin Immersion staff based in
either Santiago or Buenos
Aires.
Requirements: Interns
for a specific region must be a resident of that area and must speak a
local language. Excellent written and presentation skills.
Intermediate to advanced Spanish level.

Study/tour
Development:
Description: Contribute
in the planning of our unique offerings of study/travel
packages. Help organize trips, investigate excursions, and research
student interests. These positions involve travel to meet with partner
tour groups and to verify site classroom availabilities.
Requirements:
Advanced Spanish. Ability to work independently.

Education
Program Development:
Description: Education
Program Development interns will help to improve our existing class
programs as well as to design new activities and lessons. Our programs
our coordinated between schools and the work involves developing material
that can be both generic and regional (local vocabulary, language usage).
