Spanish School in Lima, Peru School: ECELA

The school building is situated in the nice neighborhood Miraflores and provides a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean. Apart from the fact that most historical sites are close-by and many high-quality restaurants can be found in the immediate area, Milaflores is one of the safest neighborhoods.

The building has a front patio with a terrace and free WIFI for all students. Free snacks and drinks will be offered during the breaks.

Educated and courteous

The school team consists both of young and more experienced, native teachers. Most of them have some English knowledge, whereas they talk Spanish only. So you will get more cultivated to adapt faster to the Spanish speaking part of the world.

To get to know the country and as well the other students, you have the chance to participate in activities and excursions. Either those things are for free or you pay up to U$5.

Service Evaluation System:
In the school’s data base there is a folder about student’s experience and opinion. At the moment the average voting is about 4,5 (1=worst, 5=best). To maintain such a great feedback you can evaluate the school weekly and give suggestions for improvement.

Accommodation:

Homestay:
All the families who are considered a host family are proved from the housing coordinator. The families are experienced with exchanges and how to make the students feel comfortably. You will have a single room and a shared bathroom. Beside you will get two meals a day from your family (breakfast, dinner). The maximum distance which you will have to walk or drive is 35minutes.

Shared apartments:
If you prefer living with the same age of group, the school will organize and apartment for you, together with other ECELA students. Also, you can decide between having a room for yourself or sharing one with another person. The program offers standard and economic as well, whereupon food is not included. Therefore you can make use of the kitchen.

Hours:
The school is open Monday to Friday 08:00 – 18:30hrs

Holidays: The school will be closed on 22 April and 28July; these classes cannot be refunded or made up.

Other holidays – lessons will not be refunded; a conversation club will be organized instead.
