Course Description
Course Structure | Levels | Schedule | Materials | Teachers
Once again, this was a great experience for me.  All of the teachers I had were wonderful.  I noticed the whole time I was here that everyone thought his teacher was the best, which tells me that you have an excellent group of teachers!  All of the staff is great - everyone is very friendly and goes out of their way to make sure the students are comfortable and happy.
- Carly, USA
Spanish Immersion Course Structure
Our Spanish language school programs are designed so you will meet your Spanish goals in a short period of time.  Through immersion programs students are normally able to reach in a few months the same level as  years of high school or university study.
spanish courses in chile
The  standard course, 20 hours per week, provides you plenty of instruction while leaving free time for practicing: in your homestay, at restaurants, in stores, etc.  Small group sizes (maximum 6 but normally smaller) allow each student to receive substantial individual attention and feedback from the teachers.  Students may also take additional private hours of Spanish classes at reduced rates in both Argentina and Chile.

One-to-one instruction is also available for students seeking maximum individual attention or to work at a slower or faster pace than the group Spanish courses.

Students with special interests, such as health care, business, law, or social services, can either take a private course or a group course supplemented with individual lessons.
The structure of the class wasn't collegiate, but we covered the same material, so I still looked forward to class every day.  I liked that general discussion about social things or the city was not discouraged during class, because it helped in improving real-life vocab/conversation skills. The tuition was very reasonable, too, and that not only makes it attractive, but possible for a lot of people.
-  Katie, San Francisco, USA
NOTE:  Classes are either in the morning (9-1) session or in the afternoon (2-6).

Levels & Course Content
In both Argentina and in Chile, our program is divided into 12  components of study, with 8 always open. (not all components must be sequential.)  The first eight are concentrated on grammar, vocabulary, practical situations, and conversation.   The next levels, advanced and superior, focus mainly on conversation and advanced reading and writing topics.  Each level is two weeks and a written exam must be passed in order to advance.

Teachers
All of our teachers are native speakers with university educations and are very experienced teaching Spanish to foreigners.  Most have learned a second language themselves and understand the student's perspective. They are devoted to helping students best reach their goals and to keeping the classes enjoyable and entertaining.
