The school is located in the safe neighborhood of Providencia, one of the most popular neighborhoods in Santiago. Providencia has beautiful parks, as well as a vibrant nightlife in form of various restaurants, bars and cafes and is in the center of the city.
The building offers comfortable classrooms, common areas with Wi-Fi., a nice patio with BBQ and free snacks during the breaks.

The school team is happy to support you in any regard and you don’t need to hesitate asking them for help.
The majority of the staff is young and had the chance to travel abroad. Even tough they are able to speak English they will talk Spanish to you. That way, your Spanish improves much faster.
There are also native Spanish teachers who participate regularly in further trainings. It will be very easy for you to communicate with them.

Every week there are excursions and activities organized which are either free of cost or not more than U$5.

Service Evaluation System:
Once a week you have the chance to evaluate the school in order to know what needs to be proved. When you will have finished the program, you can give your comments more detailed.

Each school has a data base for the student’s evaluations papers, to see how the majority of students experienced their stay. They can vote between one (worst) and five (best) and the current statistic is 4,5.

Accommodation:

Homestay
You can choose between: Half pension, single room, shared bathroom, max distance 35 minutes.
To make you feel like home the housing coordinator proves the families in advance. Additionally those families receive instructions and trainings to know what their responsibilities are.

Shared apartments
It is possible that you will be placed into an ECELA student exclusive apartment or shared with a porteño host, by the school. You have the choice between single or double room, standard and economic. Food is not included, but you can use the kitchen.

Hours:
The school is open Monday to Friday 08:00 – 18:30hrs

Holidays:
The school will be closed on the following dates, these classes cannot be refunded or made up.
April 2, 17 Sep.

Other holidays – lessons will not be refunded; a conversation club will be organized instead.
