Overview
Since 1999, GRADA, Grupo de Apoyo al Desarrollo Autogestionado, has supported the development of Casa de Acogida para Lactantes, a children’s home dedicated to the care and protection of neglected infants from newborn to 2 years. Through proper nourishment, clothing, medical care and social stimulation, these children are given the chance they deserve to grow and develop normally. Their physical, psychological and emotional wellbeing are cared for by the devoted staff and volunteers who offer their time and affection to those who need it most.

Project Details: 

• Assist immediate care of children
• Support social and emotional development
• Feed and play with infants
• Aid staff with daily assignments

Requirements: Must be over 18 years of age. 
Volunteer Time Period: Minimum of 2 weeks
Weekly commitment: Free schedule, though mostly in the
afternoons.
Spanish level required: Intermediate
