The Spanish Courses is focus in conversation, you will feel confidence to speak Spanish out side of classes just like you do in the classroom.

There are 12 Spanish levels available, the very beginner ones up to the super advanced course. Choose between group or private class or even both and start any Monday all year round! (2-24 weeks).

Spanish Courses in Chile

Mini Group: 7 students Max, 20 hours per week, all levels
Private Lesson: one to one, you can choose 10 or 20 hours per week, focused on your own interest
Group Plus Private: Take 20 hours of group lessons and to your program from 4 to 10 hours of private lessons.

Academic Credit for your Spanish Abroad program:
Apart from studying Spanish, you also have the chance to get credits for your university by completing courses at School ECELA Chile.

Come here and study a certain amount of time, if it is for several months or just a month - not important. As soon as you have taken four weeks of classes (one full level), it is similar to having accomplished a college semester course.

Spanish & Ski (June – September)
In Chile you get the possibility to not only participate in Spanish courses, but as well to get off-days for skiing and snowboarding.
This weekly program includes 2 lift tickets a week, one during the week and the other one during the weekend and round-trip transportation. To catch up the missed classes during the week there are supplemental classes offered for you.

Volunteer in Santiago, Chile
If you want to show your gratefulness by returning the favor to the locals, there are many things you could help with. Possible placements include helping with children’s organizations, serving at soup kitchens, building houses for the homeless, developing art workshops and much more. We will present you with several choices before your arrival. We provide this opportunity free of cost in order to assist the local community.

Spanish plus Internship in Chile -
It is possible to arrange unpaid internships for 1-9 months, for those, interested in gaining some work experience during their stay. There are many different companies you can work with. Possible areas of work are: Business (Marketing, Sales, Accounting etc); Health (Nursing, Emergency etc); Tourism (Tour guide, Travel agencies etc).

Medical Spanish and Shodowing in Chile
Especially for health care professionals and students working with Spanish speaking populations we offer a customized medical program combining Spanish Immersion group classes with medical-specific courses and clinic shadowing.

Clinical Shadowing detail
- Students will be placed in a local clinic or hospital
- Students can observe professionals interacting with patients in Spanish and observe the similarities and differences between customs here and in their home countries
- 2 sessions per week, from 1.5 to 4 hours depending on the location
- Student must dress appropriately and respect all the internal rules of the institution in which they are placed
