Spanish School in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

The Spanish school Puerto Vallarta is located two blocks from the Pacific Ocean in the heart of downtown. Surrounded by Vallarta’s beautiful colonial buildings and charming city streets, our campus is also near restaurants, cafes, stores and nightspots. Our building shows off the typical architecture of Puerto Vallarta and has a large café in a nice open terrace that is used for salsa classes, fiestas and as the meeting point for students during the breaks. There is also a conference room in which movies in Spanish and cultural lectures will be given. An internet area and wireless connection are also available at the center.

With more than 20 years of teaching experience the teachers are experienced in teaching Spanish as a second language. Even though all of them are originally Mexican and do speak English, they will talk Spanish most of the time. If Spanish should not work out in any situation they will help you in English. So that you don´t just learn grammar, the school offers activities you can join. That way, you soon will find friends at school; get to know the country and also the language.

Teaching Methods

What makes this school so special is that the teachers adapt their classes to students needs. Combined with a range of teaching techniques, such as communicative focus, Ludic, traditional, communicative classes etc you never will get bored and you will be looking forward to your next class. If you have any problems either at school, or personal, they will be happy to help you and make you feel better. In general you will have a unique and amazing time and of course you will be motivated to keep studying Spanish as you will make fast progress.

Homestay:
Carefully selected and with exchange students, the families will make you feel a part of them. Living in a hostfamily also offers you the chance to see what daily life in Mexico is like, and help you to get to know the cultural life. The distance from your family to school will be about a 20 minute walk. Normally there are not any complaints about families. But if you do not feel happy for any reason, the housing coordinator will find a solution for it. 

Shared apartments:
If you are more comfortable living with people your own age, you can live in a shared apartment. To find a place which isuits you, you need to give the school detailed information about your requirements. Prices differ and are dependant on your choice.

Hours:
The school is open Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:30hrs

Holidays: The school will be closed on 21 March, 22 April, 1 May, 16 September, 2 November, 21 November, 25 December. These classes cannot be refunded or made up.
