classes take place?
At the Latin Immersion
Language Network locations in Buenos Aires,
Argentina and Santiago, Chile.

1.2 What type of classes are
included with the program?
The program includes the group classes at each
school. Groups have a five student maximum and are given at beginner,
intermediate, and advanced levels.

2. Activities
2.1 Are group excursions
included?
Group excursions (day trips) will be available
at all locations. However, they are not included in the price as
many students prefer to make their own agendas. Additionally, weeknight
activities are optional and generally are free or a maximum of $5.

2.2 How much free time do we
have at the locations?
Apart from classes and travel time, students
are free to make their own schedules. Many activities are available,
however all are optional.

2.3 What is planned in Mendoza,
Argentina?
Mendoza is a beautiful, small city located near
the Andes. Because of its ideal location and abundant natural offerings,
we have chosen it as the stop-over between cities. Students will
have a full weekend to enjoy such activities as downhill or cross-country
skiing, horseback riding, mountain biking, wine country touring, hiking,
or simply relaxing and enjoying the city's museums, nightlife, cafes, etc.

3. Transportation
3.1 What type of transportation
do we use between cities?
Both Chile and Argentina have excellent long
distance buses. Our package includes direct overnight service on very comfortable
"semi-cama" buses.

3.2 How long are the journeys?
Buenos Aires-Mendoza: 14 hours
Santiago-Mendoza: 8 hours

3.3 Why do we not start and
end in the same city?
Many travelers choose to continue on route through
South America (i.e. Bolivia or Brazil) and so do not want to pay a return
fare. However, for those wishing to start and end in the same city,
we will help arrange an affordable bus or airfare back to the origin.

3.4 May I fly instead?
We can help arrange special student airfares
once you are here and enrolled, however most choose the comfortable and
more economic buses.

4. Accommodations
4.1 What lodging is included
in the price?
Family homestays with private room are provided
in Buenos Aires and Santiago. In Mendoza we stay in a very comfortable
youth hostel.

Family stays are not an option in Mendoza as
we they require a week minimum.

5.2 How do I register for additional
classes before/after the special package?
On the registration
page simply indicate the dates you plan to start your extra studies.

5.3 How early should I register?
For the special packages, it is necessary
to register a minimum of four weeks before your intended start date to
guarantee placement in the Spanish classes. We are also able to keep
our prices low by acquiring group ticket and hotel rates and must know
how many seats/rooms to reserve.

6.2 Are meals included in the
packages?
Meals are not included in the prices. Some
students like to cook all of their own meals, others always dine out, some
have special requirements, etc.

trips planned?
We offer this combination of schools throughout
the year. Please check our web page to find the next program start
dates. Students may also combine schools at anytime with independent
travel in between schools.
