Viña del Mar: Support animal protection
Support Animal Protection
You will take care of and protect sick and homeless animals
ECELA-Viña del Mar
Description
The objective of this project is to decrease the population of
homeless animals through animal adoption and showing people how to care for their pets, and what their responsibilities to their pets are.
Project Details:
- Adoption campaigns generally take place three times a week
during the summer depending on the number of animals that
are in care at that point in time. As many pups and kittens are
exhibited as full-grown dogs and cats, this means that constant
supervision and attention of the animals is needed throughout
the entire day. - Animal grooming takes place in the "New Dog" veterinary clinic.
- Perform random checks of adopted pets to ensure quality
of the care and their health. - Feed, clean, vaccinate and walk the animals before handing
them over for adoption
Requirements: Passport. There is no age limit.
Duration of time Volunteering: three times a week.
Spanish Level required: Intermediate.
